JOHN ZIELINSKI

John Zielinski

An early interest in Taoist alchemy and Chi Kung brought John Zielinski to a life long partnership with Master Mantak Chia. Beginning in 1981 as a student with the "Healing Tao", John has progressed through roles from avid student, to advisor in Master Chia's book publishing, to be the first to teach the Universal Tao system in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and to create PacificTao.com, the official distribution website for Master Chia's DVD workshop series.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, where his mentor was Professor Heinz Von Foerster, one of the founders of Cybernetics.

John has studied with many masters who contributed to his development over the years including; George Ling Hu, Fong Ha, and Bruce Kumar Francis. In 1991 John intensively lived and studied in India with H.W.L. Poonja, a student of Ramana Maharshi. John is certified to practice and teach Medical Qigong by the International Institute of Medical Qigong and has practiced in both clinical and private settings.

John is the founder and director of PacificTao.com, the official distribution website for Mantak Chia's video teachings. PacificTao.com markets and sells Internationally 36 different workshops of Master Chia on over 60 DVD's. Over 500,000 people throughout the world have viewed Master Chia on YouTube video clips from the DVDs. Nearly 4 years in the making, with over 30,000 DVD sales, the PacificTao.com website continues to expand and grow, supporting its original vision "to share the wisdom of the Universal Tao with as many people as possible."

Currently, John is expanding PacificTao.com to support the Instructors of the Universal Tao System. An International event calender, blogs, forums, articles, and a featured teacher section are being added to the website as well as an affiliate program providing a source of supplemental income for participants.

Instructors realize the great value and benefits of the Universal Tao system and are motivated to share and teach what they know. In fact, many instructors would be teaching full time if they knew that they could make a living at teaching. Oftentimes instructors do not understand the aspects of marketing and the potential benefits of an effective Internet strategy. This talk overviews strategies and options in the world of Digital Media available to Instructors which will help them to promote themselves and develop a community of students.
